Dark Days

Series of wall objects
2025
On the skeletal remains of recycled screens, dystopian scenes of temporary structures appear: a tent-like shelter, a trap, an improvised campfire. These fragile architectures suggest that humans once created dwellings and tools from discarded remnants. Yet only their traces remain; the people themselves are absent, as is the light that once animated the displays. The images hesitate at the verge of visibility.
As one moves past, they surface from a muted grey, only to dissolve back into obscurity.
The series ‘Dark Days’ investigates perception and truth-making, asking what endures at the end of the world and who constructs the narratives that survive.
